Rare Housing Development Under Construction in El Segundo

At 540 E. Imperial Avenue, construction is underway for a rare housing development in El Segundo.

The property, formerly owned by the El Segundo School District, is being redeveloped by DR Horton with a 58 single family residences.

Waypointe, a collection of 34 townhomes, will offer a mix of two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging between 1,243 and 1,998 square feet.  Renderings portray a series of three-story buildings featuring two-car garages and rooftop decks.

Toward the south side of the project site, the adjoining Pacific Landing development will offer four-bedroom homes with floor plans between 2,975 and 2993 square feet.  The detached homes will come in a mix of one- and two-story structures.

Completion of both projects is set to occur later this year.
